Spirulina cookies with acerola and walnut topping
Preparation time for a large jar approx. 10 min - Degree of difficulty: easy
- 300 g flour
- 200 g vegan margarine
- 100 g icing sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp Spirulina Algae (Bio)
- 1⁄4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp acerola powder
- 1 few walnuts or sunflower seeds
Preparation:
Mix flour, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, Spirulina Algae (Bio) and salt. Add
margarine and knead everything together into a smooth dough.
Put the dough in a bowl, cover and put in the fridge for an hour.
First preheat the oven to 180°C. Then roll out the dough thinly and cut out biscuits.
Then put the cookies in the oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
Finally the cookies have to cool down and can be decorated with different toppings
.
Preparation Acerola Topping:
Mix 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon acerola powder and 2 tablespoons water. Add more icing sugar and water depending on the consistency.
Preparation Walnut Topping:
Heat 100 g sugar in a saucepan until the sugar is golden brown and liquid. When the mixture starts to foam, add 125 ml of water. Then add the walnuts and remove from the heat.
