Energy balls with guarana

Preparation time: 60 minutes - Difficulty level: easy

Ingredients for approx. 20 balls:
- 125 g creamy peanut butter
- 40 g maple syrup
- 50 g blanched, ground almonds
- 30 g chopped almonds
- 1 tsp organic orange zest
- 1 tbsp guarana powder
- a little vanilla sugar
For the chocolate coating:
- 150 g dark chocolate, min. 75 % cocoa content
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp fleur de sel

Healthy nut and chocolate spread with dates

Preparation:

Mix the room temperature peanut butter with the almonds, guarana powder, maple syrup, orange zest and vanilla. Then use 2 teaspoons to form balls of the same size. Place these on a plate or tray in the fridge for at least 60 minutes.

To make the chocolate coating, break the chocolate bar into small pieces, melt in a bain-marie and stir in the coconut oil.

Dip the chilled guarana balls into the chocolate bath with 2 small forks, drain and place on baking paper.

Sprinkle with the salt flakes and leave to harden in a cool place.

Store in a tightly sealed tin in the fridge and enjoy at the next 'energy snack' at the latest.
